Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud held a special meeting with residents of Madhu Park Ridge Apartments to address concerns surrounding the proposed Musi buffer zone and related building permission issues. The MLA assured residents that their future and investments remain a priority and that the government is working toward a humanitarian and fair resolution.

The meeting comes amid ongoing discussions regarding properties that fall within designated buffer zone limits. According to officials, the government’s position is clear: innocent flat buyers should not suffer due to violations or regulatory lapses committed by builders.

Two Options Under Consideration for Affected Flat Owners

MLA Prakash Goud informed residents that the government is examining two possible alternatives for flats that fall within the buffer zone limits:

  • Allocation of ready-to-occupy flats in a secure gated community within the same locality, with equivalent square footage (same SFT).
  • Payment of compensation at prevailing market rates, without damaging existing flats.

He emphasized that the intention is not to harm homeowners but to ensure that they receive justice and financial security.

“It is unfortunate that builders violate regulations and construct within buffer zones, putting buyers at risk. But as a responsible MLA, I assure you — you will not be left alone. I will stand with you until justice is delivered.”

Government Taking Humanitarian Approach

The MLA clarified that the government is taking a humanitarian approach and that no arbitrary action will be taken against innocent residents. He also cautioned people against political misinformation.

“Some individuals are trying to create fear for political gain. Do not fall for such temptations or sell your assets at reduced prices due to panic.”

Officials reiterated that the government machinery is continuously working to ensure that affected families receive fair treatment and clarity.

Clarifications on Other Land Parcels

During the discussions, references were made to other land parcels including areas in Upperpally (28.29 acres) and Hyderguda, as well as portions falling within designated buffer limits. It was stated that even in cases where construction permissions were disputed or absent, the government is willing to consider compensation mechanisms in appropriate circumstances.

It was also clarified that construction permissions within certain regulated zones — including areas within 500 metres of Himayatsagar — are subject to specific environmental and regulatory guidelines. The government has indicated that affected individuals in such zones will also be considered under compensation frameworks where applicable.

Appeal to Media and Public

MLA Prakash Goud appealed to the media to play a responsible role in disseminating accurate information and avoiding unnecessary panic.

“This is not merely a news issue — it concerns the lives and savings of hundreds of families. I request media representatives to share verified information and support efforts to protect innocent homeowners.”
