In response to multiple requests from citizens seeking clarity on administrative boundaries, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has shared detailed information regarding its internal structure at the zone, circle, and ward levels.
The civic body is currently organized into:
- 3 Zones
- 16 Circles
- 76 Wards
This administrative framework is designed to streamline governance, improve service delivery, and ensure efficient management across the rapidly expanding urban areas under Cyberabad.
Three Administrative Zones Explained
Serilingampally Zone
05 Circles | 26 Wards
This zone covers major IT and residential hubs including Gachibowli, Kondapur, Miyapur, Narsingi, Manikonda, Tellapur, Patancheru, and Ameenpur. It remains one of the fastest-growing urban clusters in the Hyderabad metropolitan region.
Kukatpally Zone
04 Circles | 23 Wards
The Kukatpally Zone includes key localities such as Madhapur, HITEC City, Kukatpally, Moosapet, Allwyn Colony, KPHB Colony, and Balaji Nagar. It forms a vital commercial and residential corridor with strong connectivity to the IT sector.
Quthbullapur Zone
07 Circles | 27 Wards
The Quthbullapur Zone comprises areas such as Chintal, Jeedimetla, Kompally, Gajularamaram, Nizampet, Dundigal, and Medchal. This zone includes a mix of residential neighborhoods, industrial clusters, and rapidly developing suburban pockets.
Why This Administrative Structure Matters
The structured division into zones, circles, and wards enables the corporation to:
- Strengthen local-level governance
- Improve municipal service delivery
- Enhance management of roads, sanitation, water supply, and civic infrastructure
- Ensure greater accountability at the ward level
Each ward serves as the primary administrative unit for handling citizen grievances, development works, and civic services.
What Citizens Should Know
With rapid urban expansion across western and north-western Hyderabad, knowing your zone, circle, and ward jurisdiction is increasingly important. This helps residents approach the correct authorities for civic complaints, building permissions, trade licenses, and other municipal services.
Officials stated that sharing ward-wise details promotes transparency, administrative clarity, and public convenience across all 76 wards of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
As Cyberabad continues to grow as a major IT and residential hub, this clearly defined administrative structure is expected to support more efficient governance and improved civic management.
