The Commissioner’s Task Force of Rajendranagar Zone, in coordination with Attapur Police, apprehended six young men for performing illegal bike stunts and dangerous driving on public roads in Attapur, Hyderabad. The accused were caught indulging in reckless activities that posed serious threats to public safety and their own lives. The operation resulted in the seizure of two two-wheeler vehicles and six mobile phones used in the commission of the offence.
The apprehended individuals were found engaging in multiple dangerous activities including performing stunts, triple riding, over-speeding, and rash driving on public roads. Their actions created significant nuisance in the area, causing panic among residents and endangering the lives of both commuters and pedestrians. The police acted swiftly after receiving information about these illegal activities that were being conducted openly in the Attapur area.
The accused have been identified as Syed Shahed (19), Shaik Naseer Hussain (19), Shaik Junaid (18), Mohammad Bin Isa (17), Abdul Samad (20), and Mohammed Arbaz Hussain Khan (22). Among these, four individuals including Syed Shahed, Shaik Naseer Hussain, Shaik Junaid, and Mohammad Bin Isa were previously involved in a petty case regarding bike stunts registered at Bahadurpura Police Station.
One of the accused, Mohammed Arbaz Hussain Khan, has a more serious criminal record. He was previously involved in a POCSO case registered as Crime Number 76/2024 under Sections 354 and 448 of the Indian Penal Code, along with Section 7 read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act 2012 at Attapur Police Station. This indicates a pattern of criminal behavior among some of the accused individuals.
The Task Force operation highlights the growing concern over illegal bike stunts and dangerous driving in Hyderabad, particularly among youngsters. Such activities not only violate traffic rules but also put innocent lives at risk on busy public roads. The police have been conducting regular operations to curb such reckless behavior and ensure public safety in the city.
The Hyderabad City Police have seized the vehicles and mobile phones as evidence in the case. All six accused persons are currently in custody and face charges related to dangerous driving, creating public nuisance, and endangering lives. The police have registered a case and are proceeding with legal action against the accused individuals under relevant sections of law.
