MLA Voditala Sathish Kumar attended a pastors’ meeting in Husnabad town. He mentioned that Telangana is the only state that officially celebrates Christmas in such a grand way. The state values all castes, religions, and communities, promoting brotherhood among its people.
Sathish Kumar announced that a new scheme is being developed for Christians. The government is considering providing Rs 1 lakh assistance to Christians, especially those who have converted from SC, ST, BC, and OC communities.
The pastors requested special permission for the construction of churches, similar to what is granted for temples and mosques. The MLA promised to bring this matter to the attention of CM KCR.
