MLA Voditala Satish Kumar spoke about the progress of Husnabad constituency at a BRS party meeting in Akkannapet. He noted that ten years ago, there was no irrigation and farmers’ suicides were common. However, with the help of Godavari waters, the constituency has seen rapid development and welfare. The BRS party has been instrumental in executing many development programs in the area and the MLA assured party cadres that he will stand by them.
Kumar called upon party workers to be prepared for upcoming elections and to visit households and use social media to explain government development programs. He believes that the BRS party has strong support from the people and that activists should work together to ensure victory in Husnabad.
The Gauravelli project, which will provide irrigation to one lakh acres, is almost complete. The project will permanently remove drought from the region and make Husnabad greener. Recently, Minister KTR visited and highlighted the importance of the Gauravelli project.
