District Collector Muzammil Khan announced that the MLC polling in Khammam district was conducted peacefully. By 4:00 pm, voter turnout had reached 93.05 percent.

On Thursday, the District Collector visited Rikka Bazaar High School in Khammam, where teachers were casting their votes. He inspected the voting process and ensured that everything was running smoothly.

He stated that teachers exercised their right to vote at 24 polling stations set up across the district for the Telangana Legislative Council elections. There were a total of 4,089 registered teacher voters in the district.

By the end of polling, 3,805 teachers had voted, including 2,218 male and 1,587 female voters. The turnout rates increased steadily throughout the day, reaching 20.35 percent by 10:00 am, 54.34 percent by noon, 79.53 percent by 2:00 pm, and finally 93.05 percent by 4:00 pm.

After voting ended, the ballot boxes were transported to reception centers in Nalgonda.
