Police Enforce Restrictions in Wanaparthy District for January

Wanaparthy District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravula Giridhar, IPS, announced that measures are being taken to maintain peace and security in the region. As part of these efforts, Section 30 and Section 30(A) of the Police Act, 1861, will be enforced across the district from January 1 to January 31.

Under these restrictions, residents and public representatives are prohibited from organizing dharnas, sit-ins, protests, rallies, public meetings, assemblies, or gatherings without prior permission from the police. Any activity that disrupts peace, causes security issues, or results in damage to public property will not be allowed.

SP Giridhar urged the people of Wanaparthy, as well as leaders of various associations, to cooperate with the police in maintaining order. He emphasized the importance of following these guidelines during the enforcement period.

The SP also issued a warning that strict legal action will be taken against individuals who violate these rules by engaging in unauthorized activities.
