    HanumakondaWarangal MP Kadiyam Kavya strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming he acts under the influence of former US President Donald Trump. She made these remarks during a Congress Party meeting held at Nidigonda village in Raghunathapalli mandal, Jangaon district, on Thursday.

    The meeting was led by Jangaon District Congress President Kommu Pratap Reddy. Addressing party workers, Kavya said only the Congress Party can truly protect the Indian Constitution. She accused the BJP government of spreading religious divisions and using them for political advantage.

    She also claimed that both BJP and BRS are alike in their policies and approach. In contrast, she said, the Congress is focused on improving the lives of the poor and the middle class.

    Kavya brought up the 1971 Indo-Pak war, praising former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for making bold decisions that led to India’s victory. She said that, unlike Gandhi, Modi lacks decisive leadership.

    During a recent visit to Gujarat, she said many locals expressed disappointment with Modi’s leadership, calling his development work average. She criticized his rise to power, accusing him of promoting a “fake Gujarat model.”

    She praised Rahul Gandhi for connecting with people through the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which stretched from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. She urged party workers to support Gandhi’s vision and work hard to bring him to power in 2029.

    On state matters, she applauded Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for declaring Warangal the second capital of Telangana. She noted that the government has approved ₹6,000 crore for development in the city.

    She listed major projects underway in Warangal, such as the Smart City initiative, underground drainage system, ring road, Kaloji Kalakshetram, Mamnoor Airport, Kazipet Coach Factory, and the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park.

    She highlighted the progress in Station Ghanpur constituency, crediting MLA Kadiyam Srihari for launching development works worth ₹1,000 crore in just one year.

    Kavya called on Congress members to unite like a family and work together to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming local body elections. She emphasized the importance of raising the Congress flag in every village.

    The meeting saw the presence of several key leaders, including MLAs Kadiyam Srihari and Nayini Rajender Reddy, MLC Addanki Dayakar, Lingam Yadav, State Oil Federation Chairman Janga Raghava Reddy, State Library Chairman Riyaz Ahmad, and Co-Chairman Inugala Venkata Ram Reddy.
