Mancherial: Congress MP Vamsi Krishna voiced his concerns in Parliament over the alleged misuse of the Special Identification Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar.
He joined Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress MPs in a protest on the Parliament premises in New Delhi, strongly opposing the SIR process on Monday.
They criticized the effort to sort voters by religion and caste, calling it a “conspiracy to destroy democracy.”
Vamsi warned that this action is intended to categorize voters and promised to openly fight to safeguard democracy.
Priyanka Gandhi reminded the Central government of its duty to listen to voters, not to remove them.
