Text Size: 100%

Mulugu Congress candidate Seethakka protested in front of the Returning Officer’s office on Monday midnight. She was upset because her photo on the EVM ballot paper was smaller than the photos of other candidates. She spoke to Assistant Returning Officer Vijay Bhaskar and staged a sit-in.

PCC president Revant Reddy called Seethakka to inquire about the situation. Even after 2 o’clock in the night, she continued her protest.

Members of the Congress party also joined Seethakka in front of the Mulugu Constituency Election Returning Officer’s office. They sat in front of the office and claimed that Seethakka’s photo was printed in a smaller size. They raised slogans and demanded that measures be taken to ensure that her photo is the same size as the photos of other candidates in the voting machines.
