Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham made a strong statement criticizing BRS leaders who deceived people with false promises. He said they have no right to criticize the Congress party, which is dedicated to the welfare of the people.
Veeresham challenged former minister Jagadish Reddy to a resignation and re-election battle. He proposed that both of them should resign from their posts and hold fresh elections to determine whose promises are genuine.
Veeresham also accused Reddy and other former ministers of criticizing the guarantees provided by their government before the scheduled implementation of schemes. He specifically mentioned Reddy’s alleged failure to provide water through the construction of Pillai Palli and Dharma Reddy Canals.
Veeresham questioned Reddy’s actions and accused him of cheating the people by not completing the Nakkala Gandi tunnel works. He challenged Reddy to an open discussion on his assurances.
