Narayana Educational Institutions has achieved remarkable success at the International Science Olympiads 2025, with its students accounting for nearly half of India’s representation. Out of 27 students representing India across six major Olympiads, 13 were from Narayana.
The students brought home a total of 13 medals, including 7 gold and 6 silver, across competitions in junior science, astronomy, physics, chemistry, and biology. This achievement is particularly significant given the small team sizes and highly competitive national selection process.
At the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2025, four out of six students selected from India were Narayanites. In the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) Junior 2025, two of the three students chosen nationwide came from Narayana.
The institution’s dominance continued at the senior level. At IOAA 2025, three of India’s five representatives were from Narayana. The International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2025 saw two of India’s five participants from the institution.
Narayana also had representation at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2025 and International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2025, with one student each from their institution making it to India’s four-member teams.
Ms. Sharani Ponguru, Director of Narayana Educational Institutions, personally congratulated and felicitated the students. She acknowledged not only their medals but also the discipline, perseverance, and years of preparation behind each success.
“These Olympiad achievements show what is possible when students receive the right guidance, steady support, and the confidence to aim high. We are extremely proud of our students for representing India with such distinction on the global stage,” she said.
Ms. Sindhura Narayana, Director, emphasized the years of dedication behind these results. “Our students’ performances at the International Science Olympiads reflect years of dedication, discipline, and belief in their abilities and also the confidence, mentorship, empathy provided by the staff at Narayana,” she stated.
