Union Minister G Kishan Reddy announced that the Centre has spent around Rs 800 crore for developing culture and tourism spots in Telangana under the PRSAD and Swadesh Darshan schemes. PM Modi inaugurated 52 tourism projects worth Rs 1,400 crore in Jammu and Kashmir under these schemes.

One of the projects launched by the PM is the development of the Balkampet Yellamma temple, where Rs 4.4 crore will be used for constructing various facilities like an ‘Annadanam’ building, water harvesting structure, bio-toilets, CCTV system, and more. These improvements aim to enhance the experience for the thousands of devotees who visit the temple daily.

The PM also dedicated completed facilities in Jogulamba and announced the development of Bhuvanagiri Fort and Ananthagiri as tourism spots. These projects will include guided tours, lighting shows, ropeways, and other amenities to attract visitors.

Efforts have been made to preserve different cultures and traditions under Modi’s leadership. Various projects like improving pilgrim facilities in temples, developing eco-circuits, and enhancing historical sites in Hyderabad have been undertaken. In addition, initiatives like introducing light and sound shows at Golconda Fort and Osmania University have been implemented to promote tourism and cultural heritage.
