Hyderabad – A new book titled “Kaleshwaram – Vastavalu Vakrikaranalu” (which translates to Kaleshwaram – Facts and Distortions) is set to be released in the city on May 2.
Sridhar Deshpande, a well-known irrigation expert from Telangana, authored the book. It dives deep into the Kaleshwaram Project, addressing both the realities and the misinformation surrounding it.
Prominent BRS leader T Harish Rao will officially launch the book. The event will take place at 5 PM at the Telugu University Auditorium.
The book launch is being organized by the Telangana Vikasa Samithi, a group focused on the state’s development. In a statement released on Wednesday, the organization’s General Secretary, Erroju Srinivas, confirmed the details of the event.
This book aims to clarify public understanding of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project, one of the largest and most debated water projects in India.
