Bhaskar Rao is now the new Executive Officer (EO) of the Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, taking over on Saturday evening. The former EO, Geetha Reddy, resigned last December, leading to Deputy Commissioner Ramakrishna Rao temporarily taking charge. However, controversies surrounding seating arrangements during a recent visit by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other ministers led to Ramakrishna Rao’s dismissal on March 14.
In his place, Bhaskar Rao, who previously served as Additional Collector of Bhongir, was appointed as the new EO. Upon assuming office, he was welcomed and honored by the temple authorities. The priests of the temple also gave Vedic blessings to Bhaskar Rao during an induction ceremony and facilitated his seating in the EO’s chair. Before the formalities, he visited the sanctum sanctorum and performed a special pooja to the Swamy.
