[24], a company based in Hyderabad and Bengaluru that provides customer solutions and contact center services, has launched a Buddy Program for new mothers on maternity leave. The program aims to keep new mothers connected to the workplace by sharing updates on corporate developments and team updates. If requested, new mothers can also receive professional psychological support through the program. The Buddy Program serves as a point of contact between the new mother and the company, sharing information on the employee’s wellbeing and motherhood experience with the supervisor and team. The Employee Relations team is also available for support if needed. The program can be fulfilled by a person of the employee’s choice, nominated by the supervisor, or any employee who wants to volunteer for the role.
