Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is an action entertainer starring superstar Chiranjeevi. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi who recently delivered a blockbuster with Sankranthiki Vasthunam. People We Meet on Vacation, based on the 2021 Emily Henry novel, follows the friends-to-lovers journey of Poppy (Emily Bader) and Alex (Tom Blyth), who come together every year for a vacation. Shot across locations from New Orleans to Barcelona, it’s a highly anticipated romcom for the new year and a good choice if you are looking for a lighthearted romcom. It will hit the theatres on 9th January.
5. Jana Nayakudu
This upcoming political action drama is said to be actor Vijay’s last film before he moves into politics. Described as a 100 percent Thalapathy Vijay film, it features Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The movie also has Pooja Hegde and Mamitha Baiju, and the music composed by Anirudh. It is set to release on January 9, alongside Raja Saab.
6. The Rip
Joe Carnahan’s new action thriller, The Rip, stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who also produced the film. The film follows a group of Miami cops who stumbles upon millions of dollars in hidden cash, igniting high-stakes tension and betrayal.
