Hyderabad: Despite the tender being allotted in 2022 and land acquisition completed, the much-needed road widening work on the NH-163 TGPA-Moinabad-Chevella-Manneguda highway has seen no progress. Residents and commuters continue to express frustration over the dangerous and deteriorating condition of the road.
The current state of the highway is described as extremely unsafe, with frequent accidents making it one of the most hazardous stretches in the area. The narrow and damaged road is a significant concern for residents of Moinabad, especially for the large number of college students who travel through this route daily and feel unsafe due to the poor conditions.
In a recent statement, R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy assured that the road widening work would commence soon, but as of now, there has been no visible movement on the ground. Despite repeated promises, the lack of action has left residents and travelers disappointed and increasingly anxious about their safety.
The completion of the road widening project is eagerly awaited, as it is expected to improve road safety, reduce accidents, and provide much-needed relief to commuters.
