BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the district administration in Karimnagar for not making proper arrangements for the Ganesh Nimajjanam. He claimed that the officials threatened people from bringing Ganesh idols to the tower circle, which has been a tradition every year.

During his visit to assess the arrangements, Kumar stated that all the Ganesh idols should be brought to the tower circle under the supervision of the Hindu Utsav Samithi. He also pointed out that the work was not yet complete, as the electric wires had not been removed and the cement works had just begun.

Kumar expressed his frustration towards the officials for treating review meetings as mere rituals and failing to make necessary arrangements for the devotees. He warned that officials would bear responsibility for any backlash from the devotees due to their negligence.
