A workshop titled “Language in the Digital Age: How Technology Shapes Communication” was held at the University College of Engineering, Osmania University, on Friday. The event focused on how digital advancements are changing the way people communicate.
The session was inaugurated by Prof. Mangu, Vice Principal of the University College of Engineering. He spoke about the importance of adapting to new technologies in language and communication. Prof. Saveen Souda, Head of the Department of English, explained the workshop’s objectives and how it would help students improve their understanding of the subject.
The workshop featured lectures by Dr. Spoorthy from NIT Warangal and Dr. Narender Gunreddy from Sreenidhi University. They discussed how digital tools and artificial intelligence are transforming language learning and communication. The speakers also led discussions on the benefits and challenges of these technological advancements, encouraging students to think critically about their impact.
