    Hanumakonda: On Sunday, MLA Yasaswini Reddy and Hanumandla Jhansi Reddy, chairperson of the Hanumandla Family Charitable Trust and Congress in-charge for the area, promised to make Palakurthi a healthy constituency.

    Jhansi Reddy opened a large, free medical camp at the Government High School in Thorrur. The event was organized by the Trust together with Ajara Super Specialty Hospital.

    The leaders stated that the Trust’s mission is to offer quality healthcare at no cost to the rural poor. They noted that the Trust has been aiding the constituency’s people for 30 years.

    Jhansi said a hospital was built in Thorrur to deliver quality healthcare to those in need. The camp aimed to prevent seasonal diseases during the monsoon and control Covid spread. They emphasized the camp’s purpose was to promote a healthy community while ensuring the area’s development.

    Doctors at the camp checked for blood pressure, diabetes, and chronic diseases. The public was encouraged to heed medical advice to maintain their health. Officials are working to improve public hospitals in the area.

    Funds have been allocated by the Chief Minister for a 100-bed hospital in Thorrur and a 50-bed facility in Palakurthi. They praised the hospital’s management and doctors for their help in setting up the camp.

    Doctors B Shiva Subrahmanyam, B Satya Kiran, Samarth Reddy, Veerayya, Neeraj, Mamata, and Yadagiri Reddy attended, along with local leaders.
