The leader of Janasena Party, Pawan Kalyan, has announced that his party will form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Telugu Desam Party for the 2024 Assembly elections. This is to avoid splitting the votes against the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), which he sees as the enemy of all opposition parties. Kalyan believes that it is important to unite against the ruling party and that alliances can help parties grow, as seen with the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party. He emphasized that politics is about strategies, not egos.

Kalyan clarified that there have been no official discussions yet, but they will take place in the open after a government is formed. He stated that Janasena will not lose this time and that it is more important to remove the current CM YS Jagan than to decide who will be the chief minister. Kalyan believes that a party must do well in the elections before negotiating for positions.
