Employees working for the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA) in Hyderabad have not been paid for over three months. There are about 60 to 70 non-regular employees who have been receiving nominal payment for years, some even for almost two decades. Since March, they have not received their salaries despite multiple requests to management.

K Sudharani, who works at the QQSUDA office at Darul Shifa, expressed concern about the situation, stating that it has been difficult to survive without their salaries. R Kamalamma, another long-time employee, also shared the struggle of trying to support her family amidst the delay in payment.
