Dr. Metuku Anand, the BRS president and former MLA in Vikarabad district, accused the Congress party of deceiving the people of the state with false promises in order to gain power. He conducted a campaign in Pulusu Mamidi village with party leaders and workers, where he spoke to MGNREGA workers about their issues.
During the campaign, Dr. Anand criticized the Congress leaders for not being transparent about the funding needed to fulfill their promises and how the government would raise these funds. He emphasized that the Congress had betrayed the people and warned that they would face consequences in the upcoming election. He urged the public to support BRS candidate Kasani Gnaneshwar from Chevella parliamentary constituency.
Dr. Anand’s statements highlighted the lack of clarity and accountability within the Congress party, and he expressed confidence that voters would hold them accountable for their actions.
