Khammam: State Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, District In-charge Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, announced the government’s plan to implement a comprehensive public governance programme. This programme is part of a broader strategy to fulfill the government’s six guarantees.
During a meeting, Komatireddy discussed plans for the upcoming public governance programme. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy were also present.
The public governance programme will take place from December 28 to January 6 at the Collectorate Hall. Its goal is to extend welfare schemes to economically disadvantaged individuals. Komatireddy emphasized the importance of promptly addressing applications from the poor and taking necessary actions. He also highlighted the use of gram sabhas to address public issues systematically.
Tummala Nageswara Rao expressed the government’s commitment to implementing the six guarantees and welfare schemes despite financial challenges. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy emphasized the need for a closer and more accessible governance approach. He proposed holding meetings in every village panchayat and municipality ward from December 28 to January 6 as forums to receive applications and address public concerns.
Kothagudem District Collector Priyanka Ala outlined the detailed schedule for the public governance meetings, which will be held in two shifts from 8 am to 12 pm and 12 pm to 6 pm to ensure accessibility to a wider population.
