Hyderabad recently witnessed a grand celebration at Suravaram Pratap Reddy Telugu University with the Pratibha Puraskar Awards marking the highlights of their annual event for 2024. During the ceremony, the university honored 12 notable individuals for their significant contributions to art, literature, and education.
Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, the Telangana Minister for Labour, Employment, and Factories, attended as the Chief Guest. He presented awards to the honored recipients. He praised the university’s efforts to promote culture, language, and arts, noting that recognizing talent is crucial for societal advancement.
A special moment of the event was the unveiling of the new official logo of Telugu University, crafted by Lakkaraju Narender from the Art department. In appreciation of his creative work, Narender received a cash prize of Rs 20,116, a shawl, and a certificate of appreciation from the university.
Narender, who has been designing logos for over 35 years with his company Finishing Pointe, expressed pride in the trust earned by his designs for various organizations.
The celebration saw attendance from the university’s Registrar, faculty, students, and several dignitaries. Cultural performances added vibrancy to the occasion.
