Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Rajasthan and Gujarat on a two-day tour starting from Thursday, July 27. During his visit, he will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various development projects in Sikar, Rajasthan. This is significant as Rajasthan is set to have assembly elections in December this year.

In Sikar, PM Modi will dedicate 1.25 lakh PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) to the nation. These Kendras are being developed to provide a one-stop solution for all farmers’ needs. Additionally, he will also launch Urea Gold, a new variety of Urea coated with Sulphur. This innovative fertilizer addresses sulfur deficiencies in the soil and is more economical and efficient than neem-coated urea.

This will empower FPOs with direct access to digital marketing, online payment, and business transactions. It will also encourage local value addition and growth of logistics in rural areas.

PM Modi will release the 14th installment amount of about Rs 17,000 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. This amount will be directly transferred to more than 8.5 crore beneficiaries.
