Gadwal: As part of the ‘Badi Bata’ (School Enrollment Drive), Zilla Parishad High School Medikonda headmaster Timmareddy and teachers visited homes on Friday. They encouraged parents to enroll their children in school, emphasizing that every child of school age should attend classes and not work.
This home visit is a segment of the government’s mission to achieve full school enrollment and retention. Timmareddy announced that from this academic year, all high school classes will take place in a new school building. Previously, the school struggled due to a shortage of classrooms, which disrupted lessons. Now, the new building supports a better learning environment.
Besides academics, students will receive training in technical skills and sports. This approach aims to give them a well-rounded education and opportunities to excel. “We intend to use all available resources to deliver quality education and skill development,” stated the headmaster.
He encouraged parents and guardians to utilize these new facilities to ensure every child in the village attends school and continues their education. Alongside Headmaster Timmareddy, several teachers and community leaders participated in the program, including Ramanaidu, Narsimhulu, Abel, Jagadeesh, Ruth, Anupama, and Model School Committee Chairperson Radhamma.
