The Telangana government has appointed Prof. T. Kishen Kumar Reddy as the new Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad.
The appointment order was issued by Dr. Yogita Rana, Secretary of the Higher Education Department. Prof. Reddy will serve as Vice-Chancellor for a period of three years from the date of his appointment.
Prof. Reddy has a long history with JNTU-Hyderabad. He previously served as the Director of the Affiliation and Academic Audit Cell from 2009 to 2012. Later, he was the Rector of the university between 2014 and 2016 before retiring.
Apart from his roles at JNTU-Hyderabad, he also worked as the Vice-Chancellor of PDP(E)U in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and was a former Vice-Chancellor of GIETU in Gunupur, Odisha.
