Heavy rain in Hyderabad recently caused damage to roads, leading to frustration among residents and commuters. In Anand Nagar, Nagole, a woman sat in a pool of muddy water on a damaged road to protest the unsafe conditions. She and other residents held a placard demanding safer roads, as her kids had fallen due to a pothole.

On the Nagole-Uppal stretch, a large pothole caused traffic jams and health problems for commuters and residents. Despite complaints to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, no action was taken. In a viral video, a woman named Niharika protested by sitting in a pothole filled with muddy water, urging others to join her in highlighting the civic body’s failure.
