In Kagaznagar, the Right to Information (RTI) Act 2005 board at the Rural Police Station still shows the names of officers who have been transferred.
For example, Allam Rambabu, the former Rural Circle Inspector (CI) who was transferred months ago, is still listed as the public assistance appellate officer. Similarly, while D Mahender is currently serving as the rural Sub-Inspector (SI), the board still has the name of the former SI, A. Sonia, registered as the Public Information Officer.
This has caused confusion among the public, as the board has not been updated with the correct names of the new officers. People are requesting that the old board be replaced with one that reflects the current officials.
