Public Outreach Programme on Climate Change Organised by UoH

The University of Hyderabad hosted an outreach program at ZPH School, Rangapur to promote scientific curiosity and awareness about climate change and sustainability among village students and farmers. The program focused on rocketry and sustainable development.

Faculty members from the Centre for Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences presented posters on topics like waste management, the impact of climate change on health and agriculture, and preparedness for extreme events. The goal was to increase understanding of environmental issues.

Organizers thanked volunteers, school staff, and community members for their contributions to the success of the program. Plans are already in place for future initiatives to encourage curiosity and discovery among village students. The aim is to empower and inspire the community through education.
