Top Indian badminton players PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy, and Kidambi Srikanth have entered the quarterfinals of the Malaysia Masters 2023 tournament in Kuala Lumpur. Srikanth defeated Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand in straight games 21-19, 21-19 and will play against Christian Adinata of Indonesia in the last-eight clash on Friday. Sindhu won against Japanese opponent Aya Ohori in just 40 minutes in the pre-quarterfinals and will face Chinese Zhang Yi Man in the quarterfinals. Prannoy knocked out All England champion Li Shi Feng of China and will next face Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto. The Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China is a significant event for Indian shuttlers.
