    Ramoji Rao, the legendary figure in Telugu media, passed away at the age of 88 in a private hospital in Hyderabad at 4.50 am on Saturday. He had been ill for some time, and his body has been taken to his residence in Ramoji Film City for family, friends, and fans to pay their respects.

    Rao was a pioneer in Telugu journalism, best known for launching the Eenadu newspaper, which gained international recognition. He was a visionary who embraced new technologies, venturing into electronic media with the establishment of Etv. Additionally, he created Ramoji Film City, a hub where filmmakers could bring their ideas to life.
