Wanaparthy District is preparing for the 79th Independence Day celebrations. District Collector Adarsh Surabhi reviewed the preparations on Thursday evening. Government Chief Whip and MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy will raise the national flag at 9:30 AM, followed by a speech to the district’s people.
The Collector emphasized the need for cultural programs during the event. While checking the Wanaparthy District IDOC site, he instructed Collectorate A. O. Bhanu Prakash to take measures against potential rain disruptions.
He also recommended making proper arrangements for students, officials, and the public to enjoy the celebrations. Additionally, he inspected the setup for stalls.
