KL Rahul might not be able to play in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, which begins on June 7. He got injured during his team, Lucknow Super Giants’, match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2023. Rahul has left the franchise and is currently in Mumbai for scans. Based on the results of these scans, it will be decided whether he can participate in the WTC final in London.

Rahul hurt his right thigh while sprinting towards the boundary when Faf du Plessis hit a cover drive off Marcus Stoinis’ bowling. The LSG team management has not yet announced a replacement for Rahul. Krunal Pandya has already taken up the captaincy.
