Hyderabad: Telangana’s Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, praised the peaceful end of the Ganesh immersion festival in Hyderabad and throughout the state. The nine-day event, filled with devotion and vibrant culture, concluded with a grand farewell to Lord Ganesha. Thousands of devotees took part in the immersion processions.
On Sunday, the Chief Minister lauded the unity and discipline of the citizens. He congratulated everyone who helped make the festival run smoothly. He recognized the hard work of the police, revenue, electricity, transport, municipal, Panchayat Raj, and sanitation departments, along with festival committees, mandapam organizers, crane operators, and many volunteers.
“The people’s devotion and the seamless teamwork among departments ensured the processions went off without any incidents,” noted CM Revanth Reddy. He highlighted that the peaceful celebrations showcased Telangana’s cultural richness and civic responsibility.
Special attention was given to the arrangements at Tank Bund in Hyderabad, where large crowds watched the idol immersions. The Chief Minister praised the meticulous planning that allowed the event to proceed smoothly, despite its scale and logistical challenges. Revanth Reddy also thanked devotees for their cooperation, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in maintaining public harmony during large events.
His message honored the collaborative spirit that made the Ganesh immersion a model of peaceful celebration and efficient administration across Telangana.
