In Hyderabad, there was a clash between the BRS and Congress. BRS working president K T Rama Rao commented that if people had known Revanth Reddy would become CM, Congress wouldn’t have won even 30 seats. Revanth challenged KTR and KCR to win at least one seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
During a public meeting, Revanth Reddy emphasized his humble beginnings compared to KTR’s political lineage. He urged Congress supporters to ignore any BRS leader predicting the downfall of the Congress government. Revanth stated that the Congress had faced challenges like false cases filed by the KCR government, but they were determined to defeat the BRS in the upcoming LS elections.
The Congress leader mentioned that people of Telangana were prepared to keep KCR and his family away from power, just like they did in the Assembly polls. He criticized the BRS for failing to fulfill their promises and assured that Congress would implement all its assurances, including providing jobs.
Revanth Reddy highlighted his government’s commitment to creating jobs, mentioning that they had already issued letters for 25,000 posts and planned to offer 6,000 to 7,000 more jobs in March. He also criticized the BJP’s ‘Gujarat model’ of governance, questioning its effectiveness in delivering on promises like job creation and doubling farmers’ income.
Revanth expressed skepticism towards Central agencies like CBI, ED, and IT, believing they were used by the BJP government to target opposition parties and leaders. He accused the BJP of destabilizing state governments and dividing other parties while failing to deliver on their promises over the years.
