Hyderabad: TPCC President A Revanth Reddy has restated his claim that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has embezzled around Rs 1 lakh crore through corruption. He questioned AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s involvement in it and criticized his blind support for KCR. Speaking at the Bharat Jodo Yatra’s first anniversary event at Necklace Road, Revanth called Asad another Nizam who lives in Shastripuram. He confidently declared that Congress would win the upcoming Assembly elections and reclaim the city.

Revanth also questioned the rationale behind Asad’s support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Parliament, especially when they introduced controversial bills that Asad opposed. He asked why Asad would support a corrupt leader like KCR, who embezzled Rs 1 lakh crore. He highlighted the message spread by Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, criticizing the BJP’s policy of “divide and rule” rather than uniting the country. He also reminded everyone that it was under the Congress government that Telangana was liberated from the autocratic rule of the Nizams.
