Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, recently criticized BJP leader Bandi Sanjay and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for not fulfilling their promises of development in Karimnagar. Speaking at a public event in Vemulawada, Revanth Reddy questioned Bandi Sanjay’s performance as a Member of Parliament. He pointed out that despite being elected twice, Sanjay had not contributed to the progress of Karimnagar.

Revanth Reddy asked, “Has Bandi Sanjay ever spoken in Parliament about the issues of Karimnagar? What has he done for the district?” He highlighted the stalled irrigation projects and broken promises made to the region. Revanth also expressed concern about the delays in important water projects, accusing both the BRS and BJP leaders of ignoring the needs of the people.

The Chief Minister also criticized KCR’s leadership, recalling that during his time in office, people in Vemulawada had to travel as far as Germany just to meet their local MLA. He said, “The previous government was disconnected from the people.” Revanth further added that under KCR’s leadership, Telangana’s debt has grown to over Rs. 7 lakh crore, which has pushed the state into financial trouble.

Revanth Reddy’s remarks come at a time when political tensions are rising in Telangana. With ongoing debates about the state’s leadership, the Chief Minister’s criticism of both Bandi Sanjay and KCR aims to underline the failure of both the BJP and BRS to meet their promises. He stressed the need for new leadership to ensure the development of Karimnagar and the entire state.
