Telangana Congress Chief, Revanth Reddy, criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not meeting the people’s expectations. He accused the KCR government of selling expensive lands in Hyderabad and claimed that KCR and his family had looted Rs one lakh crore and encroached upon 10,000 acres of land.

As part of the Independence Day celebrations, Revanth Reddy raised the national flag at Gandhi Bhavan. He stated that the land deals and sale of government lands would be reviewed once Congress comes to power in the next elections.

Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that Congress would come to power as KCR has lost the trust of the people. He promised that if elected, Congress would fulfill their main promises, including providing gas cylinders at Rs 500, creating 2 lakh government jobs, offering a financial incentive of Rs 5 lakh to those who build their own houses, implementing Rs 5 lakh Arogya Sri health scheme, and waiving Rs 2 lakh in debt.
