Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is heading to New Delhi to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Members of Parliament. During his two-day visit, he will meet with Central ministers to discuss various state issues. Additionally, Revanth Reddy will have meetings with AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi to discuss the Cabinet expansion and the new PCC president. Speculations suggest that the Cabinet expansion might happen in the first week of July.
Currently, there are 11 ministers in the Cabinet besides the Chief Minister. It is expected that six more ministers will be inducted into the Cabinet to ensure representation from districts that are currently not represented. Many individuals who switched to Congress from other parties after the Assembly elections also need to be accommodated.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister plans to meet with MPs to brief them on the state issues that need to be raised in Parliament. He will advise them to focus on state-related matters and effectively represent them in Parliament.
