Telangana IT and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao has issued orders to the high officials of the municipal administration department to ensure the safety of people during heavy rains in the state. He emphasized the need for all departments to work together and coordinate in the face of possible heavy rains in the next few days.
KTR held a review meeting with officials at his office in Nanakramguda. He stressed the importance of coordination between departments such as Water Board, Electricity, Revenue, and Traffic Police. He specifically ordered that there should be no loss of life due to flooding.
GHMC officials informed KTR that they have made necessary arrangements to tackle heavy rains as part of their monsoon plan. They mentioned the installation of dewatering pumps in low-lying areas and the deployment of personnel for assistance.
