The number of toxic fevers like Malaria, Dengue, and Typhoid has significantly increased in Ieeja Municipality. This is mainly due to the lack of rain, which has led to an increase in the population of mosquitoes. As a result, many people in urban areas have been infected with these toxic fevers and have had to be hospitalized.

The situation has become so severe that people have had to rush to hospitals in Kurnool and other nearby cities for better treatment. However, those who cannot afford private hospitals have had to rely on government hospitals for their medical needs.

The people who have suffered from these toxic fevers have accused municipal officials of neglecting their responsibilities. They claim that the officials have not taken appropriate measures to eradicate mosquitoes and have ignored sanitation practices, such as spraying insecticides and fogging.

Even after bringing this matter to the attention of the municipal sanitary inspector Lakshman, manager T Rajesh Kumar, and the municipal chairman, no action has been taken to address the issue.

As a result, the residents of Ieeja Municipality are now appealing to the collector to intervene and take appropriate action against these irresponsible officials. They hope that by doing so, the town can be saved from the outbreak of these toxic fevers.
