A wedding party in Nagarkurnool district was involved in a road accident. The wedding took place near the bride’s home yesterday, but today the bridegroom’s reception ceremony was held in a village called Shain Pally. The bride’s relatives were traveling to the groom’s village in a Tufan vehicle when a speeding RTC bus collided with their vehicle at Mahadevanpet village.
As a result of the collision, ten women in the wedding party were injured, with six of them sustaining serious injuries. Locals helped by taking the injured women to the district hospital in an ambulance. Among the injured were Madhavi, Bhagya, Kavitha, Indira, Divija, Swati, and Venkatesh.
Fortunately, none of the injured women were in serious danger, and the wedding party members were relieved. They have stated their intention to file a complaint at the police station regarding the incident.
