The Hyderabad District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner, Ronald Ross, is urging residents to check their names and details in the voters’ list for the upcoming assembly elections. The Central Election Commission has allowed changes and additions to the list through the Second Special Summary Revision (2nd SSR) to fix any errors such as spelling mistakes, incorrect photos, house numbers, addresses, dates of birth, genders, mobile number registration, and family member names. Ross recommends making these changes and additions online through form-8 on the website www.voters.gov.in or the voter helpline app.

It is important for individuals to register through the website and form-6 if their name is not on the voters’ list. Without being registered, they will not be able to vote. If assistance is needed during website registration, individuals can contact the voter helpline number 1950 between 10:30 am and 5 pm during office hours.
