    Hyderabad: The distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques, which is the first of its kind in the state, has started. On Monday, farmers in Tellaresari lost their mobile phones along with the Rythu Bandhu funds. To all the farmers who are deeply involved in agricultural activities.. At the same time, the Telangana government has credited the Rythu Bandhu funds into their accounts and brought happiness. After seeing the messages that the Rythu Bandhu funds have been deposited into their accounts, the farmers were delighted. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (CM KCR) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the farmers. He is performing milk abhishekam to his statue in crop fields. The farmers are praising the god of agriculture, KCR.

    As part of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, 22,55,081 farmers have received a total of Rs. 642.52 crore in cash from Gunthabhumi to their accounts. Citing the need for the rainy season, CM KCR decided to distribute checks to farmers from June 26. In this process, Finance Minister Harish Rao and Economic Affairs Special Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao have expedited the process and on Monday, deposits were made into the accounts of farmers.

    This season, a total of 70 lakh farmers will receive financial assistance from the government for an extent of 1.54 crore acres. If compared to last year, 5 lakh new farmers are being included in this season’s Rythu Bandhu scheme. With the increase in land area, the government will spend Rs. 7,720.29 crore for Rythu Bandhu. If compared to last year, the burden on the government has increased by about Rs. 300 crore. With this season, a total of Rs. 72,910 crore will be deposited into the accounts of farmers through Rythu Bandhu. Additionally, as per CM KCR’s decision, 4 lakh acres of land will also be included in the Rythu Bandhu scheme for 1.5 lakh tenant farmers.
