Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister T Nageshwara Rao clarified that the state government will implement the Rythu Bharosa scheme only after receiving recommendations from the Cabinet subcommittee. He mentioned that the scheme’s benefits will be provided to farmers during the Rabi season. However, there will be no funds released for the Rythu Bharosa in the current Kharif season.

The minister assured that the government is committed to fulfilling its promise of providing Rs 7,500 per acre under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He also stated that the subcommittee would give suggestions on how to extend financial assistance to tenant farmers.
