South Central Railway‘s General Manager, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, awarded the ‘Employee of the Month’ Safety Awards for August 2025 to 13 staff members. The ceremony took place at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad. Employees from the divisions of Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, and Nanded were honored for their dedication to safety in train operations. The awardees included Station Masters, Loco Pilots, Pointsmen, and Keymen. Mr. Srivastava praised them for their hard work and encouraged continued vigilance for safe railway operations.
The General Manager highlighted essential safety practices in the zone. He stressed the importance of avoiding shortcuts during shunting, improving track inspections, and ensuring the safe loading of freight. He instructed Divisional Railway Managers to enhance safety checks and maintain wagons properly for efficient goods delivery.
