Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to close two Passenger Reservation System (PRS) booking counters in the city. This is because more people are using online services to book or cancel train tickets.

According to SCR officials, around 85% of train tickets and cancellations are now handled online. As a result, the number of transactions at the PRS booking counters has dropped significantly.
